Thanksgiving Interfaith Service

The Woodbury and Southbury People of Faith will again present an annual Interfaith Service of Thanksgiving this season. This year the service will be hosted by the Saint James Lutheran Church here in Southbury. All are welcome.

The event will begin at 7pm, and will include readings and remarks by leaders of many of Southbury and Woodbury's houses of worship. Worship Presenters are Pastor Scott Nessel from St James Lutheran Church and Reverend Leo McIlrath, Ecumenical Chaplain to the Lutheran Home in Southbury.

All faiths are welcome to celebrate our National Holiday of Thanks to God.

As in the past, the service will feature music from the combined choirs of Southbury and Woodbury Congregations. A free will offering will benefit the Fuel banks of Southbury and Woodbury.
