We know that when you get together with people and have fun, you’ll begin to grow into a strong community that serves and grows together.

+ Adult Choir

Choirs are special places where people share a love of vocal music; each individual brings certain tone and talent as each voice is a completely unique instrument. We averaging 10-14 singers each Sunday and occasionally up to 22 singers.

Sing: First, second and fourth Sundays of the month.

+ Bell Choir

The Bell Choir continues to make beautiful music. The group meets each Wednesday evening and continues to play challenging and beautiful music.

Rings: Third Sunday of the month.

+ Bible Study

The class is open to everyone regardless of your knowledge of the Bible. All one need do is come. Bring your own Bible if you wish, or perhaps come and borrow one. The most important part is to be present and help us as a group to study and reflect on scripture, and discuss its relevancy for today. Come be a part of one of the longest running Bible studies in the area. Help us on this new journey. Join us as we study, reflect and discuss scripture, and its relevancy for today.

+ Creation Nation Choir

We have an amazing new Sunday School youth music initiative called Creation Nation. The children are lead in song each Sunday morning using fun music to augment the weekly lessons. The children have started sharing their gift of songs with the Church and plan on singing at least twice more in the spring.

+ 5-F's Events

Join us for dinner, with an opportunity for fellowship and music. An intergenerational program, it is not unusual to have toddlers and eighty-year olds enjoying food, fellowship, dance and music together.

+ Junior Pilgrim Fellowship (JPF)

Regular meetings include a meal, games, fellowship, and enhanced messages from Sunday School lessons.

Some of the special JPF meeting activities include cooking for the Soup Kitchen, organizing an Easter Egg Hunt for the residents at the Southbury Training School, and Halloween and Christmas parties. Each spring, JPF participates in a mission trip weekend at Silver Lake Conference Center in Sharon, CT. Projects completed help to prepare the camp for the busy summer season.

+ Senior Pilgrim Fellowship (SPF)

Regular meetings include a meal, games, and fellowship.

Besides their regular meetings, some special activities are community service projects (Women’s Fellowship Holiday Tea and raking leaves) and fundraisers for the summer mission trip (the Pasta Supper, Holiday Fair raffle, car wash, raffle, and the year-round can/bottle drive). There is a student-led board for SPF which meets on Sundays before the whole group meeting.

+ Small Vocal Ensembles

Our Church has three small vocal ensembles that meet and sing for various services and performances throughout the year – Women in Song, Mixed Company and The Power of Three.

+ UCC Walkers

Come walk with us! The lively conversation makes the time pass quickly. This group has been such a JOY, friendships have blossomed and deepened. Our walks are sometimes followed by breakfast or coffee. We have not stayed away from discussing politics but have learned to listen, understand and grow from sharing our diverse ideas.
Meets: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday at 7:30am and additional mornings if weather and schedules permit.

+ Women's Fellowship

All church women are welcome to share in activities and ministries that celebrate Christian fellowship through our works and deeds.

Connect over Coffee: A time for our women to gather for conversation about the needs of the Church and the women. - 2nd Friday of each month
Prayer Shawl Ministry: Prayer Shawls have been prayerfully knitted for those in need of comfort and have been blessed and sent out. The ministry is open to all levels of expertise, including beginners.
Holiday Fair Crafting: Crafting by the women of our Church for the Holiday Fair Christmas Market.
Fall and Spring Rummage Sales: Proceeds contribute to mission outreach and fellowship.
Women’s Fellowship also provides social events to bring the congregation together.
